Every item on the menu at the Blue Heron Cafe features a suggested wine pairing with the aim of enhancing your wine-tasting experience while visiting the Heron Hill Winery. Start your meal off with the tuna negril (blackened rare tuna with Kaffir lime soy and seaweed salad) and a glass of classic pinot noir, or begin with the baked brie and a glass of Ingle Vineyard Chardonnay. The menu offers five types of salad that can be topped with grilled chicken, blackened or sesame tuna, crab cake, grilled marinated Portobello mushroom, shrimp, or lobster salad. For a light lunch, order the slow-roasted Cuban pulled pork flatbread pizza topped with caramelized onions, cheese, tomatoes, and thyme, or the shrimp Caesar wrap. The Little Herons Menu includes a hot dog, peanut butter and jelly, a grilled chicken or pulled pork sandwich, and grilled cheese to satisfy the young'uns.
