RESTAURANTS: Deal with that cupcake problem

I was a bit surprised by Ms. Seymour's review of the Starry Nights signature cupcake (June 10). Being a frequent visitor to Starry Nights and loving their cupcakes, I have never had a bad experience. To me, it sounded like the problem was the way the cupcake was stored. If this had happened to me, I would have spoken to a staff member and explained that the cupcake didn't taste "right," which would have been an excellent opportunity for them to demonstrate their customer service skills as well. An important part of a restaurant experience is the way a problem is handled.
