Jazz Fest 2009. Shit, I thought I was ready. I thought I had some time yet to get my head geared up for stuffing two weeks worth of jazz in it. I thought I had time to get in shape for pin-balling between joints and the throngs. But, I'm not. My hair isn't cooperating, and I don't have a thing to wear. Gimme a day or so and I'll give you the what-for on this, my favorite music event in Rochester. I'll even roll out a little beat poetry a few of you (not including my mom) have said you liked.
Tonight I'll be digging the Faux Frenchmen and Bill Frisell. I'll see you there. I'll be the one with the camera. Smile!
I'm not sure if this is "tongue in cheek", but let's assume so (I'm referring to the "No Wave"...
