"A Walk in the Woods" runs fromThursday, June 26, through Sunday, June 28 at the Stuart Steiner Theatre at Geneseo Community College.
On the brink of nuclear war, two arms negotiators - one Russian and one American - meet in the woods for an informal talk. But the two men form an unlikely bond that sheds light on political and international relations in a touching and humorous way.
The Forum Players of Genesee Community College and William Andia will present this scene from "A Walk in the Woods," a 1988 play by Lee Blessing. Performances will be held Thursday through Saturday, June 26-28, at 8 p.m. with matinees on Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Stuart Steiner Theatre at GCC, off Route 48 in Batavia. Local award-winning actors Michael H. Arve and Ed Scutt will take on the main roles.
Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door. Reservations can be made by calling the box office at 343-0055, or by e-mailing boxoffice@genesee.edu.
