If you're a fan of spandex-clad super-heroes, or an aficionado of the unique marriage between words and art, the Canandaigua Comic Con will be the local place to get your fix this weekend. Thousands of comic books and graphic novels will be for show and sale at Canandaigua's Inn on the Lake on Sunday, October 18. In addition to browsing through the merchandise, nine comic-book artists and writers will be setting up shop to autograph their materials. Artists will include Silver and Bronze Age legend Steve Skeates, Chris Yambar, Ben Morey, Levi Krause, and more.
The Inn on the lake is located at 770 S Main St in Canandaigua. The convention runs 11 a.m.-5 p.m., and admission is free. For more information visit /cancomiccon.com.

Great show. Enjoyed meeting new artists and seeing the talented work, especially Nick Gurwitch.
My wife showed her new illustrated book "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" and had a terrific response. Alice is universally loved. check out www.WonderlandBook.com
Thanks Mike Churchill for the event.
