"Music and Dance from West Africa" takes place Friday and Saturday, June 26 and 27, at Bush Mango.
Come hear the pounding rhythms and see the colorful costumes and choreography of West Africa at the Bush Mango Drum & Dance event this Friday and Saturday, June 26-27.
The show, titled "Music and Dance from West Africa," will feature new drum and dance work, choreographed by Colleen Hendrick, Bush Mango's artistic director. Performers, ages 13 to 50, will take the audience to another part of the world with their Guinea-dance inspired show.
The performance starts at 7:30 p.m. at Bush Mango's studio at 34 Elton St. Tickets cost $8-$18. For more information or to buy tickets, visit bushmango.com.
