Don't look around for the band on the stage at SUNY Geneseo's Kuhl Gymnasium Saturday night. The four guys who make up The Blanks do it all with their vocal chords. Perhaps better known as "Ted's Band" on the TV comedy "Scrubs," these guys are as funny as they are harmonic. The TV connection doesn't end there; their repertoire is filled with television themes and commercial jingles like "Six Million Dollar Man," "Flipper Theme," and "Underdog." Opening the show is another great a capella group, the four Geneseo grads known as NARD.
The Blanks perform Saturday, October 24, 8 p.m. at Kuhl Gymnasium, SUNY Geneseo. $17-$25. 245-5873, saticketoffice.geneseo.edu.
