Joel Harrison plays Tuesday, Jan 8 at the Bop Shop atrium.
On his last visit to Rochester in 2006, guitarist Joel Harrison impressed fans at the Rochester International Jazz Festival with his interpretations of the music of George Harrison. That was just one aspect of the diverse interests of a multi-faceted musician who is equally comfortable with rock, jazz, Indian, and African strains. At the Bop Shop, Harrison will be trading riffs with one of Rochester's most eclectic guitarists, Steve Greene.
