The Sunstreak plays Water Street Music Hall Friday, Sep 7.
The Sunstreak is stepping it up a bit, bringing its intense, thoughtful (yes, I know, this can occasionally translate to being a little overwrought) progressive rock to some larger venues as the tour opener for Daughtry. The band is a perfect blend of pop and rock energy. Still, I think there's a little more room for the rock. Let's turn up those guitars, boys. Hell, y'all gotta keep up with Gary Foster's thunder.
The Sunstreak, Nate In Public, Remember Tomorrow, Vice Grip, Wild Stallions, and Falling Forward play Friday, September 7, at Water Street Music Hall, 204 N. Water St., 325-5600, 7 p.m., $5, all ages.
