Description
On saturday september 19, the Victor Yoga Sudio will begin a six week yoga series for children ages 5-9. The one hour yoga class, inspired by an imaginative story, will incorporate basic introductory yoga stretches, relaxation techniques, guided imagery and meditation. Children will also be introduced to body awareness, anatomy, social consciousness and environmental appreciation. The program is designed for children to have fun while practicing yoga, learning applicable skills that they can use everyday. Each week will offer a different theme oriented lesson with age appropriate activities to enhance physical, social, mental, and emotional development.
